I keep a film camera on me as often as I can, using it to document things I see that catch my eye. I try to take photos that I want to see.

I use a false colour, infrared inspired film a lot of the timeI love the unpredictable and dreamy results. It turns yellows to pinks, dark blues to green, and greens to purple. Film forces me into accepting the photos I take. With digital I find I'll take too many of the same photo then try to decide the best between many similar shots which is a process I don't enjoy at all. It's a nice way of keeping a record of things I see.

I feel like there is less worry in using analog photography in a way. As long as I have the negatives it will be fine. I like the physical aspect of it over having files on a hard drive. The tactile nature of film makes it feel more real for me.
