Mary Arnatt is a Masters student in the Department of Communication, Media and Film at the University of Calgary and is the recipient of the 2018 Gerald Pratley Award from the Film Studies Association of Canada. She previously served as the Movies that Matter coordinator for the University of Calgary Film Society, and is a current committee member at the Calgary Cinematheque.
