Riva Symko

Riva Symko is currently the Writer-in-Residence at Latitude 53 Contemporary Visual Art. She has previously published critical writing on art with the University of Lethbridge Art Gallery, Modern Fuel Artist-Run Centre, and the Union Gallery. She holds a PhD in Art History and Visual Culture from Queen’s University and has taught undergraduate courses at Queen’s University, and Memorial University of Newfoundland. By day, she works as an arts administrator and independent curator based in Edmonton, Alberta.
