Michelle Lazo is a multidisciplinary artist based in Calgary with a primary emphasis in photography. She recently had a solo exhibition at Five Art & Merchandise and a group show for Exposure Photography Festival, curated by Naomi Potter of Esker Foundation. She is currently finishing a BDEs degree at ACAD as a photography major, and a jewelry mentorship with Sarabeth Carnat. Her drinking water fountain design was chosen to be installed in Riley Park by the City of Calgary Parks Department, and will be an ongoing collaboration with fabricators Heavy Industries until completion. Upcoming collaborations include a Fundraiser for Discovery House, a group portrait show that premiers at Glenbow Museum and a group show at Herringer Kiss Gallery.
